Request a Certificate of Insurance
Same-day COIs for workers’ comp — with the wording your contract actually requires.
Nothing stalls a job faster than a missing certificate. GCs, property managers, staffing clients, and municipalities won’t let you start — or keep — working without current proof of workers’ compensation coverage, usually with specific wording their contract demands. We issue certificates same-day for our insureds and handle the endorsement details that make certificates get accepted instead of kicked back.
How to request your certificate
Why certificates get rejected — and how we prevent it
Most rejected COIs fail on details: the certificate holder’s legal name doesn’t match the contract, required endorsement wording is missing, or the certificate shows a coverage line the contract doesn’t recognize. We read the requirement language before issuing, match it exactly, and when a demand is something your policy can’t legally provide in your state, we tell you before the GC does.
Certificate FAQs
How fast can I get a certificate of insurance?
For active policies, certificates are typically issued same-day — often within the hour during business hours. If you’re not yet insured with us, most businesses can be quoted the same day and bound within 24-48 hours, with the COI issued immediately after binding.
Can you add my GC or client as an additional insured?
Where your policy and state rules allow it, yes — tell us the exact wording the contract requires and we’ll issue the certificate to match. Send the insurance requirements page of your contract with your request; it prevents rejected certificates.
Do certificates renew automatically?
We track your certificate holders and issue renewal certificates when your policy renews, so GCs and property managers aren’t chasing you for paperwork mid-project.
What information do you need from me?
The certificate holder’s exact legal name and address, any required wording (additional insured, waiver of subrogation, primary and non-contributory), and where to send it. The contract’s insurance requirements section usually contains all of it.
